– Projectroom&Rental

Projectroom

As a tenant in UKH’s project corridor, you are expected to actively participate in the community of the house. Around once a month, a user-driven house meeting called the “UKHusmøde” is held, where at least one person from each project room must attend – and take turns facilitating. In addition, tenant meetings are held somewhat less frequently, but attendance at these is also mandatory.

During the rental period, you are expected to contribute to UKH’s activities. This could be in the form of small events, exhibitions, performances, bar shifts at concerts, or hosting a communal dinner. In this way, you help create life and a sense of community in the house.

Tidiness and cleaning

It is important to keep the hallways and stairs tidy, as these serve as escape routes and must therefore be kept free of waste and objects. Tenants are responsible for disposing of bulky waste themselves.

Shared areas such as hallways, toilets, and the kitchenette must be kept clean. It is recommended that tenants organize a rotation system so tasks are distributed evenly. At the same time, everyone is expected to clean up after themselves – and preferably also take responsibility if they encounter a mess left by others. Trash bins must be emptied daily. Cleaning supplies and equipment can be found in the room next to the toilets, and staff can always be contacted if anything is missing.

Practical information

You are very welcome to use the shared facilities in the house – UKH is your house too. Remember to keep an eye on your email for any invitations to house meetings or other news from UKH.

We are a user-driven house, and therefore, if you rent a project room in the house, it is also expected that you actively engage in the house and our many activities.
